You are cordially invited to attend this year’s Graduate Student Day awards ceremony and reception hosted by the Graduate Student Association (GSA) and the Office of Graduate Studies (OGS)!

Graduate Student Day is a special event held to honor graduate students for excellence in research and teaching, graduate student spirit, and graduate student organizations who have done outstanding work this year. The GSA also recognizes faculty and staff members who have gone above and beyond their roles to mentor and advocate for the graduate student community this year. Remarks and an awards ceremony will be followed by an appetizer reception. Award recipients will be notified prior to Graduate Student Day. All graduate students, faculty, and staff are welcome and encouraged to attend!

After the ceremony, please join us at Soundgarden Hall (Spring Garden & Columbus Streets) for a Spring Benefit: End of Year Blowout from 8:00 PM – 2:00AM featuring Wired 96.5 DJs Mijo and Ric City as well as DUCOM’s own DJ NAJ! Food and drinks included. Shuttles will run back to Center City and University City from midnight – 2:30 AM. All proceeds will go to Spells Writing Lab, a Philadelphia-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that develops the creative and expository writing abilities of school-age children through free, fun, and imaginative writing programs and teacher development opportunities. Tickets will be $10 for graduate students and $20 for guests. Registration information and link coming soon.
